The art is pretty consistent with what you expect the series have. The second episode was worth the watch just to see Erina and Alice in their swimsuits.

The second episode has Alice and Erina going to a public pool on a hot day and the Polar star crew This leads to a decent food challenge towards the second half. The first episode is just some of the characters going on a site seeing trip and trying some traditional Japanese food since most of them are not Japanese native. Expect some of the same over the top reactions from the series and you'll enjoy this still. I don't think Food Wars needed an ova since it didn't really explain much or anything, but it was fun to watch at least.
